A Nantwich man and chairman of countryside access group says a “culture change” is needed to slow drivers down on the area’s rural roads.
The Cheshire East countryside access forum wants to see an end to irresponsible driving on narrow country roads – particularly on unmarked roads which are set at the national speed limit.
South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with police to drive home the message of staying safe online.
A Cyber Safe Forum launches at the Ibis Styles Hotel in Crewe on March 29 when businesses will hear from Cheshire Constabulary safety experts Alison Gabbot and Mark Cotton.
The results of an extensive transport survey across Crewe and Nantwich are set to be unveiled. The Local Forum on Transport Strategy for Cheshire will be held tomorrow (April 23).
