Flood warnings have been issued today for the River Weaver in the Nantwich area, after heavy rains from Storm Dennis.
Rain over the past 24-36 hours will leave the Weaver levels dangerously high, say the Environment Agency.
A man was rescued from the River Weaver floods in Nantwich last night, police have confirmed.
Specialist officers from across the force were called to the river close to Nantwich Pool off Wall Lane after reports a man had been caught in the floods.
The Environment Agency has today (January 27) issued two Flood Warnings for the River Weaver in Nantwich. Heavy overnight rain and snow and ice melt has caused the Weaver to rise to dangerous levels.
