Nantwich Town’s 2020-21 season has been curtailed with immediate effect due to the impact of the Covid lockdown, the FA has agreed.
It means, subject to ratification by the FA Council, that all Nantwich’s Northern Premier League games at Step 3 in National league system will not take place this season.
Nantwich Town and other Northern Premier League clubs are to be asked their views on whether the 202-21 season should be terminated.
It comes amid the latest national lockdown which has put a stop to matches being played in Steps 3 and 4 of the national football league system.
