The Welsh Guardsman became a national hero after surviving an attack on his ship the ‘Sir Galahad’ during the Falklands War and overcoming his devastating burn injuries.

Fire crews battle blaze on train at Calveley near Nantwich

Fire crews had to battle a blaze on a diesel train at Calveley, between Nantwich and Chester.

The blaze broke out on board the engine compartment of the train close to Station Road at around 4am yesterday (October 21).
