Mill Island and the River Weaver will turn yellow with the first hospice fundraising Nantwich Duck Race next month.
Hundreds of children and families will gather at Mill Island as a fleet of rubber ducks are released into the water in aid of Hope House Children’s Hospices.

Hundreds of families enjoyed the 20th annual community duck race and children’s model boat race in Wistaston.
The event, sponsored by Wistaston Community Council and Crewe Movie Makers, was opened by Wistaston Rose Queen Rachel Astbury and her attendant Chelsea Horne.

The Wistaston Memorial Hall & Community Centre Annual Duck Race and Children’s Model Boat Race takes place on Saturday at Recreation Ground, Joey the Swan.
A duck race at a marina near Nantwich has helped raise more than £2,500 for St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice.
Aqueduct Marina, at Church Minshull, sold more than 1,000 ducks at £2.50 each for the event.

A record 900 ducks took part in the 16th Charity Duck Race and Children’s Model Boat Race in Wistaston. The event, held at the Joey the Swan Recreation ground, attracted hundreds of onlookers.
