The £11 million scheme to replace Sydney Road Bridge in Crewe with a structure capable of taking two-way traffic, has reached a major milestone.

Ministers have earmarked £15 million for a key link road to help boost growth for Crewe and Nantwich. Department for Transport today confirmed £15.64m funding for the 1.1km Crewe Green Link Road South dual carriageway project.
