A dance marathon in a northern town forms the backdrop for a foot-stomping and thought-provoking new musical that comes to Crewe Lyceum as part of a UK tour.

No Miracles Here is on a 15-date national tour in spring 2019, and arrives at Crewe Lyceum Studio on Saturday March 23.

Strictly dance star AJ Pritchard and his brother have been injured in a brawl in Nantwich nightclub Nakatchas.

AJ, who made the semi-finals of this year’s BBC series, was enjoying a night out with brother Curtis in the Welsh Row venue when witnesses say a group of men became aggressive towards them.

Mayor of Cheshire East Arthur Moran will hold the annual charity dance at Nantwich Civic Hall later this month.

Cllr Moran, who represents Nantwich North and West and is also a town councillor, has chosen ovarian cancer and protate cancer charities to benefit from the dance.
