Cooke is keen begin strengthening his existing squad in readiness for 2021-22 campaign after it was confirmed the current season was to be null and voided.

Nantwich Town say it has been forced to postpone its festive period fixtures with Stafford Rangers and Witton Albion due to the impact of the pandemic.

A second-half goal by the visitors’ striker Kyle Finn was the difference as the Dabbers more than matched their National League North opponents in front of 433 supporters.
