A group of young people from Crewe have graduated from a Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service-led The Prince’s Trust programme.
The graduation took place at the Crewe Hall, and the team of nine who were all dressed in evening dress, attended the event.
Sportspeople young and old across Crewe and Nantwich have made the shortlist for the Everybody Awards 2021.
Nominees this year include people from motorsport, rugby, running, snowboarding, swimming, netball, football, gymnastics and more.
It’s not too late to nominate people for this year’s Everybody Awards in Cheshire East.
But time is running out, with the deadline for nominations on July 25.
Crewe firm Cymphony has moved to new offices at Crewe Hall Farm to cater for its expanding team. The company specialises in handling inbound calls, webchats and virtual assistant services. And Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson Paralympic Athlete and crossbench peer is returning to host the awards for 2021.
Officers searching for a missing man in Crewe have found a body.
The body, which was discovered by a member of the public in a wooded area near Crewe Hall, is believed to be that of 51-year-old Josef Skrdlant.
Crewe Hall will host a special charity concert by Alsager Community Choir on February 29 in aid of Nantwich-based charity, The Wingate Centre.
Crewe and Nantwich RUFC received the “Club of the Year” award at the local Everybody Awards held at Crewe Hall.
The club was up against finalists Cheshire Stars Netball and the 5DA Street Dance Academy but managed to scoop the award based on a successful 2018-19 season.
A huge Masquerade Ball to raise money for the RSPCA centre in Nantwich is to be held at Crewe Hall on November 2.
It is hoped the glitzy bash will raise thousands of pounds for the RSPCA’s Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre and Cattery.

Everybody Leisure received more than 140 nominations for people who have shown a huge commitment to health, sport and physical activity across Cheshire East.
Entries have started to roll into the South Cheshire Chamber Business Awards 2019 less than a month after their official launch.
People have just five days to nominate residents in Crewe and Nantwich for the annual Everybody Awards.
The awards run by Everybody Leisure aim to honour those people who go the extra mile in working in the community.
