Faddiley move up to third place in Crewe Regional Sunday League Premier Division after edging a close game with Salvador 0-2.
In a well-matched contest, goals from Richard Ford and Chris Stokes gave Faddiley the win.
Willaston WS and Crewe Ath both tumbled out of the Cheshire FA Sunday Cup.
Willaston lost 8-0 at Forest Road while Crewe Athletic lost 6-0 to Stockport-based Cale Green FC – the current holders of the competition.
Crewe Athletic produced a stunning fightback to progress into the next round of the Cheshire FA Sunday Cup.
They were trailing 3-0 to Wirral-based side Heygarth FC.
