Nantwich Town’s new U16 girls side romped to a 4-0 victory against Crosfield Juniors U16s at the Malbank field.
But hours later, the men’s team were beaten 3-0 by Congleton Vale Rovers and knocked out of the Crewe & District FA Challenge Cup.
There were convincing victories for Railway Hotel, Willaston White Star and AFC Leopard in the Crewe FA Sunday Challenge Cup.
But it was Division One side Wistaston Ath who pulled off the shock of the round with 2-1 win over Premier Division Sydney Arms.
