A car fire on a busy road near Nantwich caused delays earlier today.

The vehicle blaze broke out on the A51 Nantwich Road in Wardle at around 10.45am today (April 11).

Susan Podmore, 73, lived in at Beechmere in Crewe when it caught fire and collapsed in 2019 causing more than 100 elderly people to lose their homes and belongings.
