Dear Editor,
Cheshire East Council is run by Macclesfield for Macclesfield.

Sadly the biggest and most economically deprived town in the borough, Crewe, does not get a look in.

Candidates for £160,000-a-year Chief Exec post to be interviewed

Candidates vying to be named as Cheshire East Council’s first permanent chief executive in two and a half years will be interviewed this week.

A special meeting of CEC’s staffing committee has been called for 11.10am tomorrow (November 11) at the local authority’s Westfields headquarters, in Sandbach.

Cheshire East Council’s election team will host a briefing session for potential Parliamentary candidates ahead of the General Election which is now set for December 12.
