Crewe town centre’s Royal Arcade re-development is stalled before it has even begun.
We were promised that work would begin in January. We are now told it will be nearly May before building work begins.

Residents have until September 10 to register views on changes made to the Royal Arcade development in Crewe.

A new bus station is part of Cheshire East Council’s vision for Royal Arcade – which is also set to include a new cinema, gym, bowling alley, shops and a multi-storey car park.
Crewe and Nantwich MP Laura Smith MP has increased the pressure on Cheshire East Council to make “dangerous” Crewe Bus Station an immediate priority.
She visited the bus station with a representative from the Crewe District Bus Users Group.
