Disabled staff at Mid Cheshire Hospitals are more likely to be harassed or abused in work than their non-disabled colleagues, new figures have revealed.

More than 25% Leighton Hospital staff abused, bullied or harassed at work

More than a quarter of hospital staff in South Cheshire who took part in a survey said they experienced harassment, bullying or abuse last year.

Figures released by Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Leighton Hospital, show that of 668 employees surveyed 168 said they had experienced harassment, bullying or abuse at work from patients, their relatives or members of the public.
