The audience at Crewe Lyceum definitely had their dancing shoes on and rocked the night away when Buddy Holly and The Cricketers performed their show Holly at Christmas.
Opening with ‘That’ll be The Day’, the show went on to feature all of Buddy Holly’s greatest hits.

The award-winning show ‘Buddy : The Buddy Holly Story’ left the audience at The Lyceum dancing in the aisles.
The jukebox musical is beautifully staged and very entertaining.
Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story is back touring the UK – and will be live at Crewe Lyceum later this month.
The show has inspired a generation of multi-million selling juke-box musicals, including Mamma Mia and We Will Rock You.
By Claire Faulkner Of course I’d heard of Buddy Holly, and knew of his tragic death in 1959. However, music from 50s America is not my speciality. So going into The Lyceum with my dad was slightly out of my comfort zone.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
