A woman escaped injury after a fire in the kitchen of her Nantwich home.

The fire broke out on Bridle Hey at around 10.20am yesterday (May 6) and three appliances from Crewe and Audlem attended.

Man killed in industrial incident in Nantwich is named

A man who died following an incident on Bridle Hey in Nantwich has been named as 32-year-old Jamie Evans.

Jamie, from the Runcorn area, died while working in the area on Thursday (August 13).
