A 16-year-old girl from Merseyside has been arrested in connection with a serious assault at a house in Nantwich, police confirmed today.
She was questioned by officers and has now been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

Police say the incident, which has left a 40-year-old man from Nantwich in hospital, happened inside a house in Blagg Avenue at around 7pm last night (October 7).
