Nantwich police will be visiting local villages this weekend to offer free bike security.
PCSO Nicholas Jarvis will also be available for residents to raise concerns and views on law and order.
A 40-year-old Nantwich dad is in training for a 75km bike marathon in the Welsh mountains to raise money for a £1 million hospital appeal. Simon Warbrook, of Stapeley, will tackle a challenging route starting and finishing in Rhayader, the gateway to the spectacular Elan Valley in Mid Wales.
