Cheshire MPs team up in London Marathon to raise charity funds

Cheshire MPs Edward Timpson and Graham Evans teamed up to complete the London Marathon in aid of Muscular Dystrophy UK and The Army Benevolent Fund.

Mr Timpson, Crewe & Nantwich MP, completed his 12th London Marathon in a time of 3hrs 57mins 51secs.

Nantwich MP Edward Timpson to run London Marathon for Army Benevolent Fund

Crewe and Nantwich MP Edward Timpson is to run the London Marathon to raise money for the Army Benevolent Fund and Muscular Dystrophy UK.

Mr Timpson is training for a race which he has completed 12 times since starting in 1988.

A cheque for £2,435 was presented to Brigadier Rodney Walker of the Army Benevolent Fund after a fund-raising event at Richmond Village Nantwich. Guests raised money fo the Soldiers Charity at a black tie benefit ball.
