Adventurous Nantwich children climbed, abseiled and canoed to their hearts’ content during an action-packed residential stay at Whitemoor Lakes in Staffordshire.
Year 5 and 6 pupils from Acton Primary Academy and Calveley Primary Academy came together for an unforgettable couple of days of fun at the picturesque venue.

“Tea at The Tower” guided walks are proving a big hit from St Mary’s Church on Monks Lane in Acton.
The most recent walks took place on Sunday March 6 in sunny weather and attracted 55 walkers and two dogs.

The inaugural ‘Nantwich 10k Road Race’ will take place this Sunday March 20.
The race, organised by Mike Stevens, Founder of Nantwich Running Club, will get underway at around 9.30am and runners will race around a 10km (6.2 miles) loop on closed roads.

Monthly “Tea at The Tower” guided circular walks from St Mary’s Church in Acton restarted today (September 5) after being suspended since March 2020 due to the pandemic.
The ‘Tea at The Tower’ walks are at a relaxed pace from 1pm.
Fire crews were called to tackle a blaze in the back of a bin lorry in Acton, Nantwich.
The fire broke out at around 12.30pm today (August 9) when the lorry was on Swanley Lane, Acton.
