A Nantwich man was killed when his car careered off the A49 near Whitchurch and smashed into a tree.
Police say Andrew Beddows, 32, from the Nantwich area, died at the scene of the accident.

A woman has been killed and a man arrested after a horror fatal smash on the A49 at Risley, near Whitchurch.
The incident involved three vehicles – an HGV, van and a car – at about 9.30am today (August 14).
Drivers are being warned of major road closures on the A49 and A51 near Nantwich.
Night works on the A49 Whitchurch Road and A51 Nantwich Road in Bickley and Tiverton will see the roads closed between 7pm and 2am.
