Crewe & Nantwich RUFC 1sts coach John Farr has called on his side to “step up physically” as they look to bounce back from defeat to Wolverhampton.
The Vagrants side take on Leek in their next game, which Farr hopes will give them a chance to return to winning ways.
Crewe and Nantwich earned a much needed victory after beating mid-table Mossley Oak 22-12 at the Vagrants.
It was only their second victory of the season and has helped them in climbing out of the relegation area.

And Crewe coach John Farr admitted his side had been dragged into an “arm wrestle” instead of playing their usual style.

The Vagrants turned form on its head after four straight defeats when the leaders arrived.
Crewe & Nantwich RUFC 1sts missed a last gasp penalty kick as they were narrowly beaten 25-27 at home to Camp Hill.
But it was a much-improved performance for the Vagrants side against a team relegation from the higher Midlands 1 league last season.

Woore fielded a weakened side against Alsager as regular first teamers helped the 2nds out in their battle against relegation.
Crewe & Nantwich RUFC 1sts drew an entertaining match 25-25 against highly placed Worcester as the Vagrants side continue to adjust.
It was a fine result considering the number of positional changes forced on them due to injury, but the performance deserved a victory.
