Wine tasting event at Richmond Village Nantwich to raise Dementia Appeal funds
Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity is to stage a wine tasting event at Richmond Village in Nantwich to raise funds for the ‘Everybody Knows Somebody’ Dementia Appeal.
The event will be hosted by wine experts from Rodney Densem Wines, based in Nantwich.

Plans to involve the local community in caring for Nantwich’s watercourses will be described at a free public lecture at Reaseheath College tomorrow (February 15).
The ‘Love My River’ Project has enjoyed great success in Northwich and there are plans to extend the scheme into Nantwich in 2018.

Nantwich canal to stage Doggy-Do-Dahs mass walking event
Dogs and their owners are being invited to join a mass morning dog walk along the Shropshire Union Canal in Nantwich on February 17.
The free Doggy-Do-Dahs event, from 10.30am, is being organised by the Canal & River Trust, the charity which oversees 2,000 miles of canals across England and Wales.

It’s hoped the display will be mounted at the Pillory Street venue in the summer.

Mayor of Cheshire East Arthur Moran will hold the annual charity dance at Nantwich Civic Hall later this month.
Cllr Moran, who represents Nantwich North and West and is also a town councillor, has chosen ovarian cancer and protate cancer charities to benefit from the dance.
