On a cold, dark winter’s day, what could be better than to escape somewhere magical?
Thanks to Nantwich Players, I did just that when I watched their latest production of The Secret Garden this week.
A family home in Weston has once again been transformed into a Winter Wonderland to raise money for The Donna Louise Hospice.
For the sixth year, Carters Green Farm has been decorated with tens of thousands of twinkling lights and decorations by Graham Witter and his family, in memory of Graham’s sister Jessica.
Nantwich Historical Society will stage a presentation tonight (December 5) on the subject of St Mary’s Church.
The speaker is Herbert Rowsell, Chairman of the Society.
Nantwich Museum is celebrating Christmas with a Sing-a-long Concert of Christmas music led by the Wistaston Singers.

A packed audience enjoyed the live music concert ‘Step into Christmas’ at St Mary’s Church in Nantwich.
The concert featured Crewe Brass, drummers from Cheshire Drums & Bugles, European mezzo soprano Emma Brown, and Acton CE Primary Academy Choir conducted by headteacher Rachael McKinley.

A children’s hospice charity is calling on all Santas to take a break from toy-making and tackle the Nantwich Santa Dash.
The annual run will take place on Sunday December 16 and will see scores of Santas tackling either a 2.5km or a 5km route.

The one mile sprint, jog or amble will take place at 11am and festive fancy dress is a must.
