The 41st Marbury Merry Days two-day traditional country fair returns on May 14-15 after a three-year gap due to the pandemic.
Gates open at 12.30pm and the fair takes places in the field next to St Michael’s All Angels Parish Church and Marbury Big Mere.

The inaugural Nantwich 10k Road Race was a massive hit with organisers and participants.
The race took 250 participants on a 10 kilometre (6.2 miles) loop on closed roads, starting on Waterlode opposite Nantwich Town Football Club.
A “Not Parkrun” is set to take place on Barony Park in Nantwich tomorrow (Saturday March 19).
Organiser Paul McIntyre says the run will be on surrounding public paths from 9am where people will be encouraged to independently run or walk three miles.

Applestump Records, on Barker Street, will participate in the annual national day on April 23.
A new book about the life of Coronation Star William Roach is to be launched at Nantwich Bookshop.

The inaugural ‘Nantwich 10k Road Race’ will take place this Sunday March 20.
