Nantwich could be turned blue next year by supporters of Dementia Action Week.
The week, in May 2020, aims to raise awareness and sets out to have fun helping the town become more dementia friendly.

An eighteenth century school is the theme for workshops for children, which will take place at Nantwich Museum on August 21-22.

The Creating Dementia Friendly Nantwich group are to stage two events in August in the town.
Firstly, on August 8 there will be a dementia friendly afternoon tea event held at Richmond Village Nantwich.

The Nantwich Chamber Ensemble will be performing the latest of the Summer Lunchtime Concerts in Nantwich this week – with a rare production of Mendelssohn.
The audience can watch and listen this Thursday July 25 to an Octet he wrote at a young age for 8 string instruments.

Buckley’s Bees is hosting a special beekeeping and honey event on Saturday July 27 at Nantwich-based Cheerbrook Farm Shop.
The two local businesses have organised ‘Bee Local’ to help build awareness of the importance of bees in society and save the dwindling population.

The family-friendly, fund-raising event took place during the London Road centre’s 25th anniversary year.

RSPCA Stapeley Grange wildlife centre and cattery in Nantwich is starting its 25th anniversary celebrations with a summer fair this weekend.
Stapeley Grange, in London Road, opened in 1994 and since then has seen tens of thousands of animals come through its doors.
