Studio Nantwich is to host a fund-raising concerts during Nantwich Jazz, Blues & Music Festival.
The festival returns this Easter Bank Holiday weekend (14-18 April 2022), after a two-year gap due to the pandemic.

Local scouts are helping to run a Christmas tree collection and recycling scheme.
The scheme run by the 1st South West Cheshire Scout Group (The Andrews) in Crewe will raise money in aid of local Scouts, to support local children between 6-14 to gain skills for life.
Staff and volunteers from St Luke’s Hospice will be collecting and recycling real Christmas trees in return for a donation towards patient care.
Registration for the annual Christmas Tree Collection is now open.
Crewe and Nantwich Round Table has unveiled its Santa schedule as Father Christmas looks to tour the towns once again.
The tour will start in Audlem this Saturday December 4 and 5, then Shavington on December 6, 7 and 8.
Hundreds of Santas will be returning to Nantwich in December for the Hope House Children’s Hospices “Santa Dash”.
It’s the 10th year of the event, and this year will take place on December 12 at a new location, Reaseheath College.
It’s less than five weeks until the big day, and Santa has already unveiled his visits around Nantwich.
Rotary Club of Nantwich have organised their annual Santa Float, with donations made towards local charities.

Queen tribute band ‘QE2’ will perform a fund-raising concert at Studio Nantwich next week.
The gig is on Friday November 26, doors open 8.30pm, and funds raised through donations will go towards Nantwich Foodbank.
South Cheshire residents are being urged to think outside the box when it comes to picking their next family pet.
The British Hen Welfare Trust (BHWT) is holding an adoption day for ex-commercial chickens in Nantwich on Saturday November 13.
Cheshire Wildlife Trust is urging residents to support the “Big Wild Walk” for nature between October 25-31.
Ramble for red squirrels, put your boots on for beavers or hike for a hedgehog, the Trust hopes the public will stride out before COP26.

The 65th ‘Cancer Research UK Xmas Fair’ takes place at Wistaston Memorial Hall on Church Lane in Wistaston on Saturday November 20.
The event, from 10am to 3pm, will give youngsters a chance to meet Father Christmas (£3 per child) and receive a present from him.
Workplaces are being urged to back Cheshire hospice St Luke’s “Bring a £1 to Work Day” fundraising initiative.
The fundraiser is taking place on Wednesday November 3 and is a chance for businesses to bring their staff together and invite them to donate £1 for St Luke’s.
South Cheshire radio station The Cat 107.9FM is staging a “Thank You to the NHS” event at Crewe Market Hall on Sunday October 3.
It will be held between 12 noon and 6.30pm as a thank-you for the all the work done by NHS staff during the pandemic.
A fundraising “Woof Mudder” event at Dorfold Hall estate in Acton near Nantwich has helped raise money for a hospice.
The event was in aid of St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice and was sponsored by Homefeeds Pet Food Supermarket, based in Shavington, Crewe.
