Two more shows are heading to Crewe Lyceum in the next few weeks, with the return of of top comedian Paul Merton next month.
Merton will be at the Lyceum on Saturday May 14 with his “chums” Richard Vranch, Suki Webster, Mike McShane and accompanist Kirsty Newton.
A host of top entertainers are lining up for live appearances and the inaugural Nantwich Roots festival.
The festival, which runs from May 11-15, is organised as a “sister” event by those behind the popular Words and Music Festival.
Two more shows will wrap up another top season of comedy at The Very Best In Stand Up at Nantwich Civic Hall.
Returning to compere the next show on May 6 is Jonathan Mayor.
A new Creative Writing course is being launched as part of the community education programme at Brine Leas School in Nantwich.
Liam Doran, an Associate Lecturer, will run the course starting on Thursday April 28.
Steve Miller Band guitarist Greg Douglass will perform live at The Railway in Nantwich as part of his UK tour on Tuesday May 3.
Greg will be in town with his UK touring band The Pompatus of Love.
