A major water main burst could keep the busy Rope Lane in Wistaston closed for another four days.
The burst happened earlier in the week, forcing Cheshire East Council to close off the Rope Lane bridge over the railway at the crossroads with Eastern Road and Gresty Lane.

An ‘Autumn Concert’ fundraiser in Wistaston Memorial Hall proved a hit with the audience.
