Two businesswoman are to launch a new series of Faddiley Monthly Markets in the village near Nantwich.

Kate Harper and Oana Whale have teamed up to promote local businesses in the area at the markets to be held in the Goodwill Hall on Wrexham Road.

Wistaston Scout Group (35th South West Cheshire) has set up new aluminium can collection bins in Wistaston to raise money for the group.

The new bins are located in Wistaston on the car park at Wistaston Memorial Hall on Church Lane, outside Wistonia Stores on Kings Drive), and outside the new Co-op on Crewe Road.

Cheeky garden gnomes in Wistaston who were targeted by vandals, have made a triumphant return to the village.

Residents were furious when popular pensioner Laurence Perry had 25 of his gnomes smashed or stolen from his Westfield Drive garden and land at the front of his property.
