Villages near Nantwich to benefit from new public transport, says CEC

Villagers in Bunbury, Wrenbury and Audlem are to benefit from nearly £1.3m Rural Mobility Fund to improve links to the south west of Nantwich.

Cheshire East Council says the Government funding will boost public transport service where it is currently very limited.

A 62-year-old man has been sentenced for drink driving after crashing his Ford Ranger into a field in Wrenbury.

William Warrington, from Hollins Lane, Marbury, had left the scene after crashing off Cholmondeley Road between a telegraph pole and a metal gate at around 10.15pm on July 31 this year.
