National care home inspectors have been sent in to Brookfield House care home in Nantwich after dementia sufferer Roy Tomlinson walked out and disappeared for a week.

The body of a man believed to be missing pensioner Roy Tomlinson has been found in the outbuilding of a house in Wellington Road, Nantwich.

Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene at around 10.50am today (February 2) – a week after the 83-year-old went missing from Brookfield House care home.
