The Pillory Street venue was thriving throughout the day as the Battle of Nantwich of 1644 was commemorated in the town.

Victims of sex crimes in Nantwich will get improved support after a £300,000 police contract was awarded to The Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RASASC) for Cheshire.

The centre helps survivors of sexual abuse, whether or not they report the crime to the police, in recent and old cases.
