A 60-year-0ld has completed a tough “60 at 60” fundraising challenge in Nantwich – on his birthday! Ben Reinhardt, from Crewe, swam 60 lengths of Nantwich outdoor pool, cycled 60km and then ran for 60 minutes.
Fundraisers who helped pay for a new neonatal unit for Nantwich and Crewe families have seen plans for the project. Donors to the Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity’s One in Eleven Appeal were invited to Leighton Hospital to view plans for the new unit.

A hospice doctor taking part in the Midnight Walk from Nantwich to Crewe has issued a rallying cry for more women to sign up. The June 29 event will raise thousands of pounds for St Luke’s Hospice (Cheshire), which cares for patients and families across the county.
