Patients visiting Leighton Hospital will be using a new main entrance.

Major refurbishment works have been completed on the former entrance canopy replaced by a glass-fronted façade, which now includes an 80-seater Café Express for patients, visitors and staff.

Major roads and M6 motorway in South Cheshire will be safer after a life-saving donation of defibrillators by North West Ambulance Service.

NWAS has donated 16 defibrillators to the Cheshire Police Roads Policing Unit and are providing training in how to use them.
