Plans are now being unveiled to dual the final stretch of the A500 between Shavington bypass and the M6.

Cheshire East Council is to launch a public consultation on the proposals which will involve widening the current single carriageway stretch between the roundabout at the B5472 and the new dual carriageway section near the M6, junction 16.
