A Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Crewe & Nantwich has called on Cheshire East Council to use a Court Injunction to prevent further unauthorised encampments on Barony Park.
Conservative candidate Dr Kieran Mullan says many other UK authorities use injunctions, which would see traveller groups removed on the same day they arrive.
Two young farmers are looking forward to global travel thanks to an annual scholarship run by Reaseheath College and the Cheshire Agricultural Society.

Better buses are likely to be at the top of the agenda when councillors are given the chance to overhaul the borough’s transport plan.

Planning officers are again calling on councillors to reject Aldi’s plans for a new Crewe store despite more than 3,000 people signing a petition to support it.
The retailer is closing its supermarket at the Grand Junction retail park next year and wants to build the new 1,801sq m store off University Way as a state-of-the-art replacement.

Cheshire East Council has agreed to press ahead with plans to have the Crewe Hub HS2 up and running by 2027.
Cabinet members have unanimously approved plans to prepare a planning application for the station, which is expected to be submitted in summer 2020.

Families on Hilbre bank in Alpraham say Cheshire East Council and water companies have not carried out essential repairs on a section of the route.
