Nantwich Police are using four legs in their battle against drugs in the town. They patrolled the pubs and clubs of Nantwich with a “passive” drugs dog to find suspected offenders.

A Nantwich man who groomed a 13-year-old girl on a music sharing website has been jailed for three years. George Alexandra Joinson, 56, of Barony Court, pleaded guilty to sexual activity with a child under 16, and 16 counts of making indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of a child.
