Nantwich Seals swimming club has been boosted by a Cheshire East Council grant of £3,000.
The council splashed the cash to help the club buy new equipment and keep fees down.

The Oxfam shop in Nantwich is urging residents to drop off unwanted musical instruments as part of a new UK-wide initiative.
Oxfam is involved in the “Don’t Stop The Music” campaign which aims to provide schoolchildren with instruments which may have been lying unused in people’s homes.

Will Boffey died in 2007 from acute myeloid leukaemia. His sisters completed a 30k run on the date that would have been his 30th birthday.
Duck race near Nantwich raises £2,500 for St Luke’s Hospice
A duck race at a marina near Nantwich has helped raise more than £2,500 for St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice.
Aqueduct Marina, at Church Minshull, sold more than 1,000 ducks at £2.50 each for the event.
£640 dementia concert donation given to Nantwich Museum
The proceeds of a “Thanks for the Memory” dementia tribute concert was shared between Nantwich Museum and the Alzheimer’s Society.
The event, hosted by Cranage Hall Hotel and Conference Centre, featured music from the 1930s to the 1960s, played by the Dave Egerton Band.
