South Cheshire car dealership Swansway Group is entering its fifth year raising vital funds for Circus Starr.

The company, which runs Crewe Audi, Crewe SEAT, Crewe Jaguar, Crewe Motor Match and Crewe Volkswagen, is looking forward to seeing Circus Starr returning with their Big Top Tour.

Despite all their sales showrooms being closed throughout the first three months of the year, Swansway customers ordered 292 Motability vehicles, creating a sizeable donation of £5,840 to Circus Starr.

For every vehicle sold on the Motability Scheme, Swansway Group donates £20 to enable a child and their carer to go to a Circus Starr show.

Circus Starr has not been able to host any shows throughout 2020, or as of yet in 2021.

So donations made by Swansway Group have been used to directly support Circus Starr.

It’s hoped the first show of 2021 will be able to take place on June 27 in Stoke-on-Trent.

Swansway Group Director David Smyth said: “We’re so looking forward to seeing Circus Starr return and we can’t wait to see the smiles on all of the children’s, and their families’ faces.

Being able to continue our support over the last 12 months has been so important to us and we hope everyone can return to enjoy the shows soon.”

Sarah Hall, of Circus Starr, added: “There is no denying that this past year has been tough, and it’s been tough on so many of the families who we usually get to see every year at our shows and bring some joy to.

“The support from Swansway Group really is invaluable and we can’t say thank you enough.

“We hope to see our children and families again soon and get our fabulous show back out on the road!”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
