A new instructor has taken over the Kumon Nantwich Study Centre, which offers Maths and English study programmes for all ages and abilities.
Mary Kavanagh said she was thrilled to be the new instructor and welcomed the Mayor Cllr Stuart Bostock to the offical re-opening of the Kumon Nantwich Study Centre on Saturday (July 3).
Mary, a part time primary school teacher in Crewe, has taught for 20 years in Cheshire East and Newham, London.
She is married, has two children and lives in Nantwich.
She said: “I am really excited to be taking on this position and look forward to watching each child flourish, it’s going to be an exciting journey.
“I would like to pass on my thanks to previous instructor Sarah Lowe, who has made the transition very smooth for the children and myself.”
The Nantwich Study Centre is at the Olive Grove Conference Centre, on London Road, Regents Park.
Classes run on Mondays and Thursdays from 3.45pm – 6pm and Saturdays from 9am – 11am.
Cllr Bostock said: “We were very impressed with the presentation of the work being carried out at the centre and the enthusiasm of the staff and students confirmed how much they all enjoyed being part of the activities.
“We hope to return later in the year to see their progress and received their certificates of achievement
“Good luck for the future for all at Kumon.”
