Nantwich firm TIMCO has won two National Buying Group Awards.
It took top spot in the Best Supplier category and also the Decorating, Hardware and Kitchens Supplier of the year category.
TIMCO managing director Simon Midwood picked up the awards at a gala dinner held at the Belfry Hotel, Warwickshire, attended by National Buying Group (NBG) partners and suppliers.
NBG is a community of independent merchants committed to collective buying power, supporting suppliers in the building, plumbing and civil industries, and its annual awards recognise the achievements of these suppliers.
Simon said: “We have won the NBG Best Supplier award for 10 successive years, which is an amazing achievement and a tremendous recognition to the hard work from all TIMCO employees.
“The awards are particularly rewarding after an incredibly busy year, which saw completion of a major TIMCO re-branding, the launch of a new website and of 750 new product lines, and the investment and construction of a new warehouse.”
TIMCO is a one-stop-shop for more than 4,500 independent builders’ merchants across the UK and Ireland supplying essential products that trade professionals rely on every day.
Over the past 18 months the product portfolio has increased from 5,500 to more than 7,000 lines.
