Nantwich accountants Afford Bond have strengthened their team with two new appointments.
Tom Hornbuckle, 34, has been appointed Associate Director, and new staff member Bryan Jackson, 42, joins as tax manager.
Tom (pictured) joined Afford Bond in 2017 after qualifying as a chartered accountant (ACA) in 2009.
He gained experience at a mid-tier firm before going on to lead a strategic analysis team at a FTSE250 organisation.
As part of his role, he guides clients to challenge their figures enabling them to move their businesses forward and make informed decisions.
He is also treasurer for a local disability charity and plays golf and cricket.
“We are also delighted to have Bryan Jackson join our Nantwich Tax Team,” said director Peter O’Malley.
“Bryan is FCCA qualified (Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and joins us from one of Manchester’s leading tax firms.”
Bryan is married and in his spare time is a keen skier and enjoys walking and cycling.
“Both moves strengthen our position as one of Cheshire’s leading accountancy practices,” added Peter.
“I am confident that, under Tom’s continued dedication, and Bryan’s diligence, even greater achievements are attainable within the business – and we look forward to utilising the wealth of both personal and corporation tax experience Bryan brings.
“Our work is all about establishing long-term relationships and professional integrity.
“These things are at the very heart of Afford Bond’s business model.”
Tom added: “I am absolutely delighted to be appointed an Associate Director.
“We each have our individual strengths, and I know this step will cement Afford Bond’s position as one of the region’s premier advisors.
“It’s clear to see that Afford Bond are going from strength to strength,” said Bryan.
“I’m excited to be a part of the growing tax team.”
