Retirement property developer McCarthy Stone has opened a “concept store” in Nantwich – the first of its kind for the business.
The centre on High Street is the first stand-alone McCarthy Stone hub, providing information on McCarthy Stone products and developments.
McCarthy Stone took over the space earlier this year after a number of years of the property standing empty.
Residents and visitors to Nantwich and the surrounding area are being invited to call in to the Information Centre to meet staff and experience a full “Homeowners Lounge” setup at the back of the shop.
This aims to show people the type of interior finishes in the communal areas at its developments.
And anyone who visits throughout July can be entered into a free prize draw to win a luxury hamper.
Declan Fishwick, Marketing Executive, said: “We are delighted to unveil a first of its kind for McCarthy Stone having previously solely used offsite marketing suites in the towns that we are building in.
“Nantwich was the perfect location due to it’s proximity to connecting towns and demographic, while also being a popular holiday destination for visitors from all over the country.
“From the first flock of customers to visit, we’ve seen extensive interest in a number of our developments across Cheshire and Staffordshire so would encourage others to pop in also.
“A number of customers have also mentioned it was nice to see a presence on the high street, after a number of shop units have been left empty for quite some time.”
The centre on the High Street is open Tuesday to Saturday 10.30am to 5pm.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
