Work to refurbish the Crown Hotel in Nantwich has been completed in time to stage a Wedding Showcase event this weekend.
More than £250,000 was invested over five years into the Grade 1 listed building which is over 400-years-old.
It now has two rooms licensed for weddings separated by a 400-year-old upper reception area which has been part of the renovation.
The Minstrels Ballroom and the Royal Cavalier rooms have also been updated.
The hotel has been run by the same family for over 40 years.
The Wedding Showcase event will be hosted in the Minstrels Ballroom.
Services will be provided on the day, such as a wedding coordinator, and a ‘try your perfect dress’ styling service.
Local suppliers of wedding services will be present including florist, Platts Formal Hire for menswear, Caroline’s Occasions Bridal Boutique, Bespoke Celebration Cakes, Barry & Barry Classic Wedding Cars, Tim Jervis Professional Photography and Impressions Crafts.
The event is this Sunday November 3, from 12-3.30pm.
Admission to the Wedding Showcase Event is free and attendees will be welcomed with a drink upon arrival.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
