Crewe and Nantwich Weaver Rotary Club has continued its support for Supported Community Business by donating £2,500 towards the cost of replacing the heating system.
The Crewe-based organisation’s heating failed over a year ago at its Crewe Gates Industrial Estate unit.
Rotary President Sandy Cowen chose SCB as his charity of the year.
He said: “This amazing charity supports people with special needs by providing a therapeutic workshop where they can experience real work tasks in a controlled and supportive environment.
“This has been a privilege for Rotarians in Crewe and Nantwich to improve the working conditions for the trainees, service users and staff.
“My thanks to Jason Shalders, the Managing Director of APS Boiler Services Ltd. for installing the new heating system free of charge and for meeting the cost of the temporary heating.”
The Rotary Club of Crewe and Nantwich Weaver meets at 7.45pm every Wednesday at Crewe Vagrants Sports Club on Newcastle Road, Willaston.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
