They are currently third and the league has been revised to be completed.

It means there is only one fixture against each team this season.

Chris Broad, (pictured) manager of Nantwich Town Ladies, said: “Finally, we are ready to welcome our players and hopefully in the near future our supporters back to the club as the return to football approaches.

“We will shortly be back on the training ground with our under 18s and first team squads, preparing for the conclusion of our 2020/2021 season.

“Although disappointed that step 3-6 have been null and voided, we are happy that our league has been given the go ahead to complete the season in the best and most efficient way, something I’m satisfied that have done to the best of their ability in such a difficult situation.

“We look forward to welcoming Stalybridge Celtic Ladies to Nantwich on April 11 after a long lay off and I’m hopeful we can continue the great work we have done so far.

“To be sat in third place with a chance of the league title still at this point in our first ever season as a ladies first team is remarkable and a huge compliment to the work everyone involved has done, nobody more so than the players who since coming together have been 100% committed to the cause and have worked hard on their game.

“Hopefully in a few weeks the government will give the go ahead for spectators to return to games and we will be ready to greet you, but until then stay safe and well, and we look forward to a happy and healthy return to football.

“Let’s look forward to brighter times ahead.”

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
