A51 tailbacks after crash near Reaseheath College

A two-car crash on the A51 near Nantwich left one person trapped and long tailbacks today (January 8).

The accident happened on Millstone Lane close to Reaseheath College just after 6.30am.

Fire crews were called to the scene after one driver was left trapped in a vehicle following a collision between a purple Peugeot 108 and a white Ford Fiesta.

Cheshire fire and rescue said they managed to release one person who was treated at the scene by paramedics.

It’s not believed their injuries were serious.

The road was blocked while emergency services dealt with the incident, causing queues back towards Nantwich and the Bluestone traffic lights in the Chester direction.

The closure was lifted at around 8.10am.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

  1. I think you probably meant near Welshman’s Lane? As Millstone Lane is nowhere near the A51.
