St Luke's Hospice Dazzling Displays - light up for Christmas

Crewe and Nantwich families “going big” on Christmas decorations this year are being urged to sign up to St Luke’s Hospice new festive fundraiser “Dazzling Displays”.

The aim is to light up the gloomy winter nights, bring Christmas cheer and community spirit, and help raise vital funds for patient care at the Hospice at the same time.

Angela Slack, community partnerships manager for St Luke’s Hospice, said: “From glittering windows, to multi-coloured porches and Santas climbing down the chimney, we all love to see homes lit up for Christmas.

“We know lots of people are going big on Christmas decorations this year and are putting them up early.

“It has been such a gloomy year so why not bring some Christmas cheer and community spirit to your local area – and help raise some much needed funds for St Luke’s at the same time.”

St Luke’s will provide posters or a collection box to households taking part to display and encourage neighbours and passers-by to show their appreciation by making a donation to the Hospice.

Homes taking part will also be added to a Dazzling Display trail map (with the permission of the homeowner) so that families can take a tour of homes in their area in the run up to Christmas.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
